On September 26, students gathered for the annual Club Fair, filling the halls with excitement as clubs shared their missions and invited new members to join. The event highlighted the range of opportunities available, from service and creativity to science, strategy, and mental health awareness.

One popular stop was The Friendship Circle, a Jewish community service group that builds lasting bonds between volunteers and people with special needs through fun activities and events. “It’s a great way to get community service and gain the opportunity to make a real difference in the participants’ lives,” said Lila S. ’27, the club head.

The Culinary Club, led by Holly Segal ’27, Klaire M. ’28, and Julianna S. ’27, also drew a crowd. They focus on making delicious food and learning fun recipes together. Their table, complete with fruit skewers, was a hit among fair-goers. “Food is a great way to bring a community together. School can be stressful, so having time to eat something yummy is always good,” said the club leaders.

The Chess Club, led by Rena S. ’27 and Sam R. ’28, welcomed both beginners and experienced players to join. Morgan’s Message, led by Ella G. ’27 and RowanA. ’27, represented their national organization’s mission of ending the stigma surrounding mental health and promoting open conversations among students. The Rocket Club, led by Ben W. ’27 and Izzy L.’27, showcased their enthusiasm for building and launching rockets, inspiring students interested in engineering and teamwork to sign up.

The Mental Health Club, led by Aviva B. ’28, Sam B. ’27, Shuli G. ’26, Seri R. ’26, Lilah M. ’27, Jordan K. ’26, and Lily S. ’28, also had a strong presence at the fair. Earlier in the month, they hosted their successful Chalk the Walk event, where students decorated the sidewalk outside the high school with motivational messages in honor of Suicide Prevention Month. The event’s positive impact set a meaningful tone for the club’s participation at the fair.

Overall, the Club Fair was a celebration of connection, creativity, and community spirit. With so many clubs to choose from, students left inspired and ready to get involved in what promises to be an exciting and engaging school year.
