Class of 2026 senior Spencer Miller has been on the varsity lacrosse team since his freshman year. He has been at Beth Tfiloh since he was 2 years old, and has been playing lacrosse since 5th grade. Spencer loves lacrosse, and it has helped him become a great player and person by shaping values like sportsmanship, a competitive edge, teamwork, and leadership.

Miller has been a star on the field, breaking the single-game goal record by scoring 9 in the 10th grade. But he didn’t stop there, he broke it again in his junior year with 10, this year he is eying to break it for a third time. He has been named captain for 2 years (senior and junior). As a senior and captain, he plans to lead with confidence and teamwork. This year, he “see[s] the improvement from last year so I think we will do well,” and he hopes the team will continue to grow next year.

Spencer has loved his time playing lacrosse at BT and being a student at BT. As for his next steps to college, he is still weighing his options. Unfortunately, he will not be playing collegiate lacrosse, but he will play for club and intramural teams. While at BT, his favorite lacrosse memory was the first game of the 2026 season. BT played Merit High School and won 9-7.
