Teacher Spotlight: Mrs. Daniel

Learn about Mrs. Daniel!

Jacob B., Reporter

Mrs. Daniel began teaching at Beth Tfiloh ten years ago. She loves learning and believes trust is the most important aspect of her relationships with her students. Over the past ten years, she has taught biology, chemistry, neuroscience, and a few Judaics classes. Mrs. Daniel’s favorite topic to teach within biology is “the cardiovascular system [because] the students get so excited about it, and ask such great questions, leading to such great conversations.”

Prior to working at Beth Tfiloh, Mrs. Daniel taught at Loyola Blakefield, before a family connection with Dr. Schorr brought her to BT. When asked for her best piece of advice for Beth Tfiloh students, she paraphrased one of her own teachers saying, “You should use your strengths. Use your talents and passions for the greater good, for helping others, and for helping people beyond yourself.” Mrs. Daniel’s favorite passion is to play and hang out with her children, and she describes this as her “special happy place.”

Mrs. Daniel cherishes her relationships with her students and loves teaching at Beth Tfiloh. Every one of her students can say that she puts in an enormous amount of effort into helping students achieve success.
